Boston-based startup Motif FoodWorks is a different kind of food-technology company. They’re leveraging science and technology—primarily synthetic biology—to completely reshape the landscape of animal-free food. We were contacted by the CEO of Motif Ingredients, Jon McIntyre, with the recipe for success in his hands—funding, first two employees already hired, and enormous possibility. We defined positioning, values, behaviors and key messaging. We developed a completely new brand identity, re-naming the company Motif FoodWorks, and came up with a new logo, color palette, imagery and narrative to go with it. Today, we continue to delight Motif as their agency of record, supporting their brand ongoing brand and marketing activities.
